Pull Out Some Hope for Me

Kudos if you figure out what song that is. A fav of mine, it is.

Anyway, yes,m here I am, woke up precisely at 12 today... I slept sooooooo well last night, it was awesome, I haven't slept so well in aeons.

It rained and thunderstormed today, that was super awesome. I liked it mucho, I love thunderstorms. Still. Nothing has changed in the last two days since I said that.

Anyway, here it is, a week later, and still no iTrip, or as some people (like myself) may prefer "iPod car charger thing".

So what's on the agenda for this week? Let's see, five books, two papers, and a comprehension packet. Get my computer fixed once and for all. (my iPod, which was malfunctioning, I managed to fix on my own) Buy an iTrip. Not make a fool of myself at the first soccer game. Still manage to go out every night. Oh, and not get in trouble for dumping people in my lake, which I don't think will be a problem, but who knows.

Hmmm, what else.

Saw Skeleton Key yesterday, good movie, I definately recommend it. Maybe not like rush out and see it now, recommend it, but if there's nothing else or you want to see a movie and you don't know which go see it.

Um, yes. Well that's all.

I need a life.

We're All Going Straight to Hell

Yesterday was one of those really good days for no actual reason. It just was good... and I managed to be lucky a few times. Let's review:
*managed to avoid a speeding ticket (shhh, I didn't mention that to the parents)
*got Visgak instead of Gilioti, which even though she's stil hard, I will get over it
*Found out I'm in apush with Shannon and Caitlin, even if my stats class is... less than savoury...
*Felt better about my intelligence after listening to a bunch of blonde idiots cheering for some Jesse McCartney kid, who is aparentally like 18 or 19, though he looks 13 and is SOOO not attractive.
*Didn't suck at practice, even managed to gain praise from Kit, who once yelled at me for about ten minutes straight without taking a breath over a silly little blunder that didn't even cost us the game or anything back in Frosh year. As if I didn't know I'm a retard already.

Yeah, so yesterday was just a good day. I spent the evening griping about gas and whipping Scott's ass at Super Smash (okay, I didn't beat him that badly, and he did win a few) but it was all good, as he was better than I at Mario Kart. We were both so tired from our long days of soccer.

Also I had a long conversation with Shannon, whom I haven't spoken with in forever and a half. That waws like the highlight of my day.

"target has developed a new child proof pill bottle with it's lid on the bottom that opens up by pushing in on the sides and twisting. It is being used on many medications used by the elderly. So by the time Grandpa finished figuring out how to open it, he'll be in the mourge. Congratulations, Target, you've solved the social security problem."

I can't find the exact quote on that one.

Anyway, important people are starting to sign on, so I'm going to return to the marvelous world of the internet

Another War Against the Mailman

Stupid federal mail. I haven't gotten my schedule yet, everyone else has, and naturally this leads me to be angry. I'm not going to get it until I'm on my way home from soccer, which is at about 5:15, and this is unfortunate because it means I couldn't spend my afternoon comparing schedules with people. Although I suppose not hunting down the mailman like last year was probably a good thing. It shows that I have developed self control. Sort of.

Yesterday I was forced to watch a porno- okay, not really, but it was fun to make fun of Sydnie. We had a good time at her house, listening to the same Fall Out Boy song over...and over... and over again. And I caught up with like Claire and Emily and Syd, which was nice. Haven't seen them in a while.

Hoorah! I once again nailed a cool person trivia question.

Anyway, so yeah, I don't have my schedule yet. I also do not have gangrene yet, which is something that's sort of on the positive end of the spectrum. Nor do I have plans for tonight, so I think I may accomplish all the things I did not accomplish while I was sleeping this afternoon (because God knows I don't sleep at night anymore). Aka do summer reading. I haven't even finished one book yet.

I need to get ready for practice. Which will be good today, since I actually remembered my crap. But I do have a blister from being enough of a dumbass to wear katie's size seven shoes. Actually, blister may be an understatement.... gaping hole in the back of my heel is slightly more accurate.

Anyway. Time to change my clothes, make a water bottle, and go to soccer, where I can sulk freely over the fact that my mail service is inadequate.

Adios.

Stop at Nothing

"this is the modern way
faking it every day
taking 'em as they come
we're not the only ones"
is that what we used to say?
that this is the modern way?

Mmmhm, hello. And look! A post that isn't a survey! I know you're stoked.

Currently I listen to Kaiser Chiefs. It is joyus. Also I am currently downloading the new Bloc Party CD due to come out next month. Which is pretty exciting.

So let's see. Yesterday was kind of stupid. I had a soccer game (which sucked, man I can't wait for season to start... I'm lying!) and then I came home and slept for forever and a half. AKA until Kristen called around seven. Then I went to get gas at Bradley (aka cheap gas station) and defeated the purpose of saving dinero on gas by driving to Kristen's house via Lake (which is in no way on the way to her house) but I wanted to watch the thunderstorm, so I didn't really care. I got to Kristen's, and hung out with he and Sean, and then we all hauled out to Scott's. There we had great fun until I ruined it be harming Sean viciously. For the record it was unintentional.

And now I'm here on my day off trying to figure out our plans for the cornfest. Yes, that's right. I live in Ohio and wil be celebrating the gift of corn. But for the record, I'm not a hick.

I decided after our drive yesterday that I have to get an iPod car transfer...thingy. Okay I'm not in on the techno-jargon, but hell I know what I mean.

Hmmm, what else is new? I haven't done pretty much any of my summer reading. I'm pretty much screwed.

Hmm. WEll. I suck.
