Empty, Lost

Basically, I'm too lazy to think of intersting things to say, and basically nothing interesting is going on, thanks to the hell we call tryouts. So here you are instead.

1. Woke up around 6:30, told myself to go back to sleep for an hour. Drifted back awake around 7:55 and realised that I set my alarm wrong. Hurried off to tryouts.
2. Last thing you ate: a sweet, juicy, delicious, life-preserving orange.
3. Is your cell phone a piece of crap?: Well, I'm fond of it, but I don't get messages and it deleted all my texts last week, so the answer is probably yes.
4. What's the thing you look forward to most in the next 6 months? the end of soccer season. the begining of senior year (too bad they overlap) having Carmina, the forgein exchange student, come.
5. What's annoying you right now?: the fact that soccer is a monster and it just eats my day.
6. Whats the last movie you watched? Sort of Seven, sort of Havana Nights. But not really. Sweaty Cubans don't do it for me like they do for Katie.
7. Do you believe in long distance relationships?: They could work. But they usually don't. Because it's too much effort and money to go see people, or else you end up going out with their best friend, convientently located about 150 miles closer to you.
8. What's worse...being in love with someone you can't have or pretending to love someone you don't?: being in love with someone you can't have. You can make yourself be happy with someone you don't love. You can't make yourself happy when you're sad and alone.
9. Is there someone you miss so much it makes you sad?: I miss a lot of people- I wouldn't say I'm stricken with grief, but I haven't seen some of my old friends in a while, and that brings a tear to my eye
10. What inspires you?: music, books, nature
11. If you could put together a concert of 5 bands, who would you choose?: oh this is hard. bloc party, OKGO just to see the dance, the strokes, and possibly the clash. Just because that would be cool and we all can dream. Why are all my bands like Caitlin's? I'm not copying you Cait, you jsut have good taste in musics.
12. Lyric that sums up your love life?: wait. wiat. this is the sound of scilence.
13. Whats the one thing you wish you could do better? play soccer? sing. I really wish I coudl sing, or at least wasn't tone deaf.
14. If you could be anywhere this second, where would it be? Maybe chicago, or it's be fun to go to London. Damn you Cait. ON the other hand, I'd kind of like the whore R&R thign right now, so maybe skiing in the rockies.... even though this isn't the idea time for that.
15. What's your most vivid memory from 6th grade?: Not being able to go to Camp Chris because the guys set off matches in our classroom.
16. Latest addiction?: Liquid Planet smoothies
17. Have you ever had the slight urge to kill someone?: only slight?
18. How many people would you say you were interested in at once?: I'm a one at a time sort of person
19. Who are you in love with?: Jake Gyllenhaul, Orlando Bloom, Topher Grace (Ive been watching a lot of That 70's Show).... oh, oh wait... you mean for real?
20. Do you think someone thinks about you daily? Actually yes. I usually see people at some point, so they have to think about me if they're talking to me, to make sure they don't actually spit out "oh, I hate stef" or something.
21. Are you self confident?: not at all. well in school-related things yes. but ultimately, no.
22. What would you change about yourself?: I would have magical powers, obviously.
23. What book are you reading right now?: sort of madame bovary
24. How many people do you know with the same name as yours?: there's a girl who's going to be a junior with the same spelling, and a fair few with the same name.
25. What was the last thing you spilled?: the bamboo plant in the ktichen. It gets knocked over like once a day. hence it is yellow and there's like no little stones left in it. In all fairness I was trying to water the other plants.
