Home on a Saturday Night

I love convienent lyrics on my Windows Media Player.

Right now I'm ignoring everyone but Caitlin. Not that it matters, as she has gone off in an attempt to listen to the "Meow Mixes" of her Guster CD that I told her about, that I learned about from Megan and Elizabeth.

Today I had a game in Perrysburg. It sucked. We had to go down early with JV, and it is an hour and a half trip, and then their game, then ours. And I didn't even play. What a tool. Then I had to come home.

I did visit Shannon. It was nice- we were both exhausted, so we just sat around and watched Bruce Almighty and Radio Free Roscoe.

I attempted further reading of David Copperfield. Needless to say, I failed miserably.

I was thinking about my bloge today. I realised that it is a horrible failure at life. No, no, I won't stop writing in it, but I just wish there was something of substance to put in it. It's especially vapid these days because I am afraid to put my feelings about stuff in here, or my true opinions anyway, because they all end up backfiring. Horridly. The truth doesn't really set you free- don't let them kid you! And it's bad that I'm additcted to blogging, so I do it like everyday, sometimes twice a day. And with my newfound keyboarding skills, I am typing this without even looking at the screen, as it was giving me a headache. So yeah, forgive the mistypes. Anyway, I suppose the only way to make this interesting and non-backfiring is if it was entirely fiction. Only if I were trying to write fiction, I would no doubt end up putting hints of the truth in it. And that won't do.

Why are the lights in my house flickering? I saw lots of lightening today. I love that stuff. I hear it all the time. Haha, I'm a shithead.

You've got your gun to my head

Even though, as Dan knows, head shots don't count in laser tag.

Last night was mucho fun! I set out to walk to Megan's house, and as soon as I stepped off my property, Dan drives up to get me. So we (and the Big R, too) went to Megan's house for a bit and played a round or two of Halo. I'm not so good at Halo. Better than Megan. But the two of us just sort of ran around and hid. A lot.

Anyway, so then Caitlin called, and we ended up meeting her and Shannon up at Laserquest. Did I mention I was in a skirt? A khaki one, too, just to make it easier to see me in the blacklights, you know? There we played laser tag with about 15, 20 little children, and a couple of old people. In the first round, we also played with these wierd kids who we think were from Ignatius, and in the second, against this guy named cubone who took it way to seriously and flicked Dan off when he shot him. Now, that's just wierd.

After, we went to East Coast custard, which was also fun, until Megan poured water on me, and I looked like a fool.

Then Dan dropped us all off. Wow, that was a fun car ride, with us being all hyper and whatnot. Megan and I sat in the backseat and made dirty jokes, and it was most entertaining. We also saw this wierd guy who was totally rocking out to his music in the car, and we were all staring at him, until he looked over at us and we all looked away and burst out laughing. It was crazy.

Now I have to go to a tournament in Perrysburg. It's stupid, though- our game isn't until three, but we have to go with JV, and thier game is at one. Not cool, I tell you.

Oh, also, this morning I had a dream about the people we saw at the laser tag that most of you will be entertained by.

So Dan, Rory, Megan, and I were at this store. I'm not really sure what it was for, but it had a lot of story of the year and taking back sunday posters, which means it was a good store. Okay, so then the Iggy's kids from laser tag walked in and sort of started talking to us. They were kind of being jerks to Megan and Rory and I. Then we sort of realised we didn't know where Dan was. Well, we walk into this other room, and he was there like being all cool with a few of the other guys (there were like five of them) And we were like, "whoa, dan". Then colleen and rachel came in, and colleen pointed at the guy Dan was talking to and was like, "you know that's lyla's boyfriend" (not that he even goes to ignatius, but still) And Dan was like, "oops" and went to leave, when someone told that guy that Lyla had cheated on him with Dan. So then this whole rumble thing went down between dan and all the guys, and Rory and Megan were like, "Should we help him?" and I was like, "probably, he's our ride" so Megan went and got his keys and her and rory an I drove off, and I'm not really sure what Dan was doing.

AAAAAAAAaand, that's my dream.

Chinese Take Out

So I just finished some yummy thai noodles. They were very spicy with garlic, and now I've finished my water, and I only have one ice cube left. Never mind that.

Okay, well. Today was sort of not so bad. I got out of practice early thanks to the interesting weather. First it was a bit blustery, then the temperature dropped around 20 degrees (10 in celcius) (do you know that half the reason I use celcius is because I cannot spell F?) Then it started raining sort of sparatically, which was wierd, becuase I would be perfectly dry, and look up and watch the other half of the field get drenched, and vice versa (not that it mattered- JV vs. Varsity scrimmage- like that was a tough one to call), then it just started raining steadily, and finally, it lighteninged, so we left! Wo0t wo0t! So then I came home and sat at the computer, and tucked into my noodles. And here I am. Talking to Megan and trying to decide if I can go out tonight without jeapordizing my Brit Lit career. Stupid summer reading. 5/8ths of the book to go...

Anyway, so yes, school started. The classes this year are tough, but the people I am with are awesome. Lots of friends in my classes, excepting for megan and liz. Yeah, typical, eh? Government and Theo are going to be fun, though. So will gym- I just can't wait to get my yoga face on. However, Pre-calc is going to be a bitch. Its sooooooo bad. Not the teacher- Ms. Simmeck is nice, though she wasn't even there today, but just like the class is horrendously impossible. Bio will be hard but fun. Brit Lit will, if nothing else, be vastly entertaining. And Spanish is, and always will be, spanish.

I think megan is trying to disprove to me some Catholic dogma. Not that it matters, as I don't believe it anyway, but still. It's random.

Oh, hell. I'm going out tonight. Screw David Copperfield.

Well, leave it.
to the shoutouts.

Tonight will go on forever

I wish. No more summer. Summer was so short, so long, so boring, so fun, so everything and nothing at all. I suppose it was okay. So much not done. So much to do.

School starts. Not looking forward to that in the respect that I have so much work and tough classes this year, but then again, it's cool I'll finally be on a schedule again. And I agreed to hit up a diet Elizabeth style. (only because I'm in all her lunch mods, and I need to save my ten dollar lunch money allowance)

So, as Megan kindly pointed out, I have no life. Here:
brandmenew (10:04:02 PM): omg! loser
brandmenew (10:04:12 PM): wat did u do on ur last night of summer stef?
brandmenew (10:04:18 PM): I put my whole bloge into a word document
brandmenew (10:04:31 PM): wow thats one great way to end it

Yeah, yeah. Well, for those of you interested in the stats, here they are:
235 pages, and 1,474 kilobytes. That's a lot if you were wondering. You know, that's enough to make a book. If it were interesting, witty, and incisive enough, I so would try. Of course, I'd need shoutouts, too. Those things always make it more interesting. Oh, and also, did you know that Word can 0verload on spelling/grammar errors. By page 196, I got a little message that said I had too many to display.

Tomorrow I entre into being an upperclassman.

Two more years. So long, so little.

P.S. Be Careful What You Wish For

Yum yum watermelon. Last day of summer, and a spledidly crappy day at that. It's goign to thuderstorm, according to the atmosphere interpretors. Did I just call them that? Meterologists. Yeah. Those.

Thanks to Elizabeth for replying to me. And thanks to Caitlin for that convo. You guys light up my life like a flashlight on a street sign from 50 feet away.

Yesterday I celebrated the last day of summer by picking up Dan and Megan and then driving to Wendy's to fetch for them some dinner. Then we drove to Rory's house and we all ate. Well, that's inaccurate, I didn't eat, but they did. The only thing I ate all day was tuna. But that's later.

Anyway, so after that we got in my nice, clean car and drove around and plotted a bit. Oh, shit. That thing is still in my trunk. Not enough room for someone else ;-). Anyway, so we went to Elizabeth's house, and I ate tuna, and then we went on Kevin's trampoline. That was fun. Then Kevin stopped staring at us from inside, and he came on, too. So there were like six of us on the trampoline. Megan and Dan should not be allowed on trampolines. Ever. Honestly, I think I had an easier time standing up when Danny was viciously attacking me. And Megan was just trying to stand. Also, don't go on a trampoline with either jeans (me) or a short skirt (megan) it doesn't work so hot.

Anyway, so now I'm back to working on David Copperfield, which isn't so bad. As long as there's nothing else I'd rather be doing. And since for some reason I woke up at 8:30 (without an alarm) and since half my friends are back at school, and since the rest are all getting ready to go back, I suppose there really isn't. So back to that to-do list for me.

So pack a change of clothes...

Today at practice I made the wise choice of not rememberizing any running shoes. Not that I knew that I needed them, of course, but you know, still. Anyway, so we had to run on the track, and since ginley, being an ACL broken gimp, didn't need her shoes for biking, she lent the to me. Only (as Dan likes to point out) I have man feet. Her shoes were two sizes too small. But I ran the mile anyway. And actually, it wasn't so bad, I got about 40 seconds less than the last time, which was only two weeks ago, and Eileen and Kay actually took note of my improvement. So that's all great and wonderful, except my feet swelled up as soon as we started running Chicago (oh, darn) so I had to go bike. So now my feet are lovely and swollen and blistered. Great.

And I want to do something otnight, only Elizabeth is lazy cuz she thinks she's fat (can we all please futilely point out to her that she's not) and Megan has to go driving with her mom. And no one else is around it seems. Maybe I'll call Caitlin, she mentioned something, and Dan and Rory wanted to do something, but then again, Dan and Caitlin, we all know how tight they are. Heh.

Today I spent a lot of time actually accomplishing things. I cleaned my room, then read David Copperfield (not finished, tho :-\) and then Steg called, so we went to Target, and I got tonnes of school supplies for only 10 bucks. It rocked. then I took her to the carwash, which is always a favourite steg/stef activity. The I dropped her home, and cleaned out the inside of my car. I uber-febreezed it. Its smells so clean and there's no more dirt or dead flies. :-D it is da-bomb.

Okay, so now I think Megsie (did I just refer to her as that?) and rory and dan and I might go around dirving in my awesome clean febreezed car. Maybe Elizabeth, too, if she "feels like it" and stops sulking. Yes, I'm yelling at you. And I knoe you're reading this. so :-P.

Yesterday I had a sports meeting that was totally boring. I had forgoten about it until like 5 when they reminded us at practice. It was mandatory, and I couldn't miss it, so I couldn't have seen Corey anyway, even if I could have driven. Anyway, that was boring, but I got a lot of my book read, excepting when Mrs. Schmitz talked, because she's really loud and I couldn't concentrate. Then after Elizabeth and Dan and Megan stalked me to my house and we drove around and went to the beach and other various activities transpired. Then Elizabeht came over for a bit and we layed on my bed and did abolutely nothing. We were so tired.

Okay, looks like a foursome for tonight.

Last night of summer.

Welcome to Grand Central

Wow. Strange, busy day.

It all started when I tried desperately to take a nap. Yeah, that didn't work so well. First Elizabeth called. Or maybe I called her. You know, I'm not sure. Then Megan called. Then Lyla called. Then Tricia called, at which point I threw the phone against the wall. I got to sleep then.

Anyway, my mom woke me up fifteen minutes earlier than I intended- that was sweet. Not. Then the phone ringed again, and it was Lyla. But I couldn't find it (I checked it later, thats how I knew it was Lyla) Since I threw it against the wall, so I just went and forced myself to eat foods.

Then Dan and Megan came over. Yeah, Lyla, I sort of forgot I told Dan I would go to the St. B's carnival thingie with him, so I didn't call. In case you're reading this and were wondering. Anyway, so Dan and Megan came over, and Megan brought her "Texas hold 'em for Dummies" book, along with the cards, which pretty much tell you how to play. A few minutes later, Elizabeth drifted in. That, too, was fun. We bet with blades of grass. Sometimes wads if we had a good hand. Anyway, then Colleen got dropped off, and Tricia called and said she'd meet us up there, so we walked to Berny's. I walked in my bare feet, might I add.

We got to the carnival. It was rather stupid. We stayed long enough for Megan and I to battle it out on the little jousting thing (I won, in case you're wondering) and then we left. I think it took longer to walk there than it did to actually be there (did I mention that I was in my bare feet this whole time). On the walk home, I called Tricia, and told her the carnival was gay and useless, and that she and whoever she was with could just come to my house. She ended up coming alone. Then Rory called, and we were like "come over" and he was like how do you get there (to my house) and Dan tossed me the phone to give directions, and I accidentally hung up on him, so I struggled to call him back until finally he just did himself. So yeah, he came too. Then we all sat around in my basement for a while, and threw poker chips at each other, and watched the old video of my birthday and all in all it was kind of boring. Right. Then we went upstairs and looked at pictures and left Dan and Colleen downstairs.

Okay, that's not even the lot of the random people in and out of my house. So, sitting around was really boring, and Tricia left after a while. Right, so then Chelsea called, and was like, "can we still come over". So they did. Chels and Carly and Carly's friend Katie. Or maybe it was Chelsea's friend, I don't know. After a little, Megan and Dan and Rory all left (it was their curfew- 11) and then John Jay calls Chelsea (since they're cousins, if you wondered, the mysterious you who is reading this) and was like "so what are you up to?" And they wound up coming here. John and his friends Kenny and Rob. Them. Anyhoo, so we all hung out talking on the driveway, sharing funny stories and the whatnot, and all together enjoying the randomness of company we never have usually. So then Chelsea and Carly had to take off, so we continued to share stories of bad car driving with the Ed's boys, until they had to leave, too.
Then Elizabeth left, too. Always last, that girl.

Anyway, so it struck me of how it was randomly fun to hang out with John and his friends- they're all really funny and totally found my random stupid stories amusing. They're really nice for not acting like they are too cool to associate with younger peoples (I sound like a loser, but its true) and how they just hang out and don't have to be entertained. They're not like some people out there.

Some people. You know?

The next month will unfold interestingly- I can see it.

Oh, and Corey invited me to homecoming. I'm going. If I can figure out how to pull that off without my parents finding out.

I will so work on that.

Everyone's changing, I stay the same

Well, I went to that Corr's concert. It was pretty fun- I'll admit I didn't hate it. I suppose I enjoyed myself- I mean, it was a concert and all, and Caitlin's always amusing, and drunk people are even more so amusing. Plus, the most random thing ever happened. We were in the middle of the concert, and all of a sudden, people start cheering and clapping, even though they were in the middle of a song. Caitlin looks around, and was like, "holy shit that's Andy Dick!" and we saw him walking down the aisle. It was so weird- what the hell was Andy Dick doing at a Corr's concert in Cleveland? What a strange world.

This morning my alarm went off at 11:30 and I dragged myself up and turned it off, and right before I fell back asleep like the lazy ass I am, my phone went off. It was Lyla, having a nervy b, asking me to take her away. I went to her house, and I guess she didn't want to do a recital, so I took her to Denny's to calm down a bit. Julie joined us, then we ventured to various other places. In the end, Lyla went to her recital, and I came home. And that's where I am now.

I neeeeeed a life.

Well, I suppose seeing Andy Dick constitutes as a life. I mean it was interesting. I don't see famous people from TV very often, and it was particularly ironic as I had watched The Assitant earlier that day.

Anyway. Life's boring.
