On the road to life...

..there are passengers, and there are drivers.

Last night, I was a passenger.

Elizabeth and I went to the Back to School Punkfest. It was really amazing, quite fun- there was one band in particular we enjoyed, "How About No". We bought there CD and had it autographed by all three (whoo-hoo) band members. It's awesome- the CD had ghosts on it. It's v. cool and exciting, as it always is when you find new bands.

Particularly cute ones, whos members end up standing next to you while you're watching other bands. :-D ::happy:: And I didn't hate the mosh pit that made me bump into him. Didn't hate it at all.

But today, I was a driver. I went to Painesville to visit el Corey. (I don't know why I called him that) anyhooooo it was fun, we hung out and stuff, went to his friend Joe's hosue, it was fun. I dragged Elizabeth with me because I'm still sick, and I didn;t think I'd make a trip home. I probably wouldn't have if she weren't there to keep me awake. Anyway, I'm supposed to go back Monday, but I'm not sure how thats working out, because my parents are all like, "You're never home", and of course, I'm not telling them where I'm going, so I may not be able to get away. Which would suck. But we'll see.

And tonight I shall be the passenger again. Caitlin called. I'm going to the Corr's concert.

What's my problem? Well, she's uber-excited for it, and it is a concert, it can't be horrible, and my parents are letting me out, which originally wasn't supposed to happen. so yay!

Anyway, life's interesting, isn't it?

I sure do think so.

Capital H

Yes. Yesterday after showering (for a long time might I add- and it didn't even do a complete lot of good) I called Megan and Elizabeth and they were off somewhere with Rob, and they eventually dropped him off (I guess he wasn't feeling well) and came and got me and we went to Megan's house. There we helped her write the invites for her party- and let me tell you, they are some awesome invitations. If your are fortunate enough to get one, check out the return addresses- they were all written by the one and only me. I also put the stamps on. and helped Megan with the names. You'll see what I mean. Elizabeth did cutting and pasting work, and megan folded and wrote the sender address. T-E-A (no M).

Anyway, Elizabeth had to leave after a while, so Megan and I got the coupon thingie Mrs. Dever bought last week (when I was pretending to be a mormon- but I really wasn't- but then some guy really came around) andordered a pizza and cheesy sticks from this place on clague. It was really good. The cheesy bread was esp. nummy. Anyway, then we talked a while (after I put away like half the bread and pizza- I was so hungry, I hadn't eaten since the night before) and then I started feeling really sick, so I went home.

Shortly after arriving home, I decided I hated being home, and that I wasn't goign to get sleep. So I felt the need to go to Lyla's house and see what she was up to. John answered the door, and I guess she wasn't home, so I talked to him for like 45 minutes about Warped Tour (Am I the only loser who wante to go and didn't?) and school and other such things, until she got home. Then we hung out a bit (Lyla and I) and went shopping, and then the three of us (Lyla nad John and I) went to see Harol and Kumar go to White Castle. It was tres amusing. In a stupid sort of way. But I laughed.

Then I went home. and I slept.

For nearly twelve hours.

I woke up at 11:30. It was so bad- I missed three and a half hours of crew. But the worst part- not only did I wake up late, but I'm not miserably sick, too. I assume it has to do with the lack of sleep and the excessive being outdoors in the rain, but holy shit am I miserable. I'm still in my pajamas, and I have soccer in two hours, and I can't skip that. I have a headache, my throat hurts, I still feel tired, my stomach's not so hot, and just to make it more pleasant, I have shin splints.

Oh, kill me now.

Anyway, I'm goign to load up on meds so that I can go to the back to school punk/ska fest tonight with Elizabeth, b/c I'll feel rather bad if both megan and I have to ditch her.

And maybe, maybe, maybe blogger will finally publish my last two entries, along with this one.

Just maybe.

Baked Beans and Lard

So what I really should be doing now is showering, but I felt the need to write about last night while the smell is still fresh. Oh, so fresh. And while my jim-jams are still soaking.

Last night we had a scrimmage. I played with JV- almost the whole game in fact because Summer played field, and Brigit isn't really ready to play yet. Anyway, they all did v. well for their like second day as a team together- they won like 3 or 4 to 2 (neither goals were my bad), whereas varsity- not so hot. (which translates to a really painful practice today) After the scrimmage, mother took me to Panera, and then I came home and watched various things until 12:30, when the Breakfast Club was over. Then I went to sleep. For about fifteen minutes.

Until people started barging into my room, brandishing knives and donned in Freddy masks and the whatnot.

I really thought it was Megan. Seriously. I'm not sure who the person who woke me up actually was, but I completely though it was Megan Dever. Then more people started filing in. I thought it was Elizabeth, but then I was confused because there were a lot of people. I thought maybe Lyla was there, too. It was crazy. So with this thought in mind, I proceeded to yell at my "friends" for waking me up right after I fell asleep, and telling them to let me go back to bed. I couldn't see anything, because my contacts weren't in, and I was highly confused because everyone's voices sounded different. Then all of a sudden, I saw Hannah Smith, and I was like, "ohhhhhhh, the soccer team" and kind of got up compliantly and left with them. I piled into Vacha's car with a brown bag on my head, and we head off towards the Hennesy's. On the way, Cara told me that they went to the wrong house (which I now know was the Connor's) and that when the lady (mrs. connor) answered the door, they asked her, "where's Stef?" and she was like "stef who?" (don't ask me why Mrs. Connor answered the door for a bunch of freaks in masks wielding knives) and then I guess she had Scruffy with her, and she was like "what's that on my foot- did you guys- did my dog throw up again?" (I guess that mongrel threw up all over her foot) and Cara said she just burst out laughing and Jenna was like, "sorry Ma'am" and they moved on to my house. Anyway, so they got Hennesy, and the Blakes, and then we went to Moira's house (I had no idea where I was thanks to that bag on my head and the lack of contacts. I really hate not knowing where I am located- how could I run away?)

Anyway, so then Summer, Katie, Sarah, Coddie, Ginley, Megan, and I (I think that's all of us) had to stand in a line outside and receive punishment for making varsity. Punishment entailed: baked beans (I hate them. Now more than ever) Ketchup and mustard (I will never look at condiments again) lard (not fun to pull out of your hair in chunks) pies made of shaving cream and dog food (my eyes were pasted together) salsa, flour, eggs, syrup, and possibly other stuff that I'm not sure I even want to know about. Then they hosed us down (with lovely and refreshing cold water). After we changed (yes, mother had a bag packed, all ready to go) and hung out in Moira's family room, watching 13 going on 30 and watching Vacha play PS2 soccer. I think I went to bed around 5, 5:30. We woke up at 9:30. And then Vacha took me home.

So basically, once again, like that time that my retarded friends threw a surprise party for me, I was completely surprised. But this time was a little different, since I was basically not scared or anything, just really, really confused. I swear, my first instinct was like "Megan Dever, you fuckhead". Honestly. What is my mental blockage?

Anyway, so now it's nearly 12, and I still haven't bathed, as the second I got home I told Elizabeth about it, and then talked to Megan about getting my pants back to a normal colour. They currently are a faded yellow shade, which I suppose is better than the fluorescent yellow they were last night. And the smell. Oh, God, the smell. I'm not sure what's worse- the baked beans or the ketchup/shaving cream sort of combo. I was so nauseas- Katie Blake and I were gagging next to each other, in between trying to wipe some of the crap off on each other.

But all in all, it was fun, entertaining, and harmless, and unlike Elizabeth or Megan I don't really care about my hair or getting disturbed in my sleep or anything. Plus they didn't T.P. my house (I think b/c they lost time with the whole "going to the wrong house" thing) so my dad has no reason to shit a brick (since his lawn is far more precious than me- you know, I can get attacked by mustard, fine, but toilet paper? this one time, when our next door neighbours got T.P.ed he was so fucking pissed. And it wasn't even my house) And now, I'm going to take a shower, because my hair is crusty. That's sick, man.

And practice will be hard tonight. Oh, hell.

Here's the Mail it Never Fails

Today Elizabeth came over, and she gave me the goodies she and megan got me from warped tour, and I am excited for my awesome story of the year poster, along with the stickers and whatnot. That was a really long run on sentence. Anyway, yeah, so we talked about warped tour, and plotted some stuff ;-) (hush hush now) and she ate all my granola.

And also megan around 11:30 told me she got her schedule. so I was really excited looking forward to mine like ALL day, and at like 1:30 I saw the mailman go by. But he was on the other side of the street, and he always does those people first then swings back around for our side, so I just sort of waited. At 1:45ish I checked it, and there was no mail, nor any mailman in sight. So Elizabeth and I went to her house, and got her mail, and looked at her schedule, then picked up her warped tour pics (none of which turned out) and got back at my house a little before three. There was still no mail. So I was getting really pissed. The next doors had no mail either- they both still had the lil flaggie thing up, and so I walked across the street and opened the box, and they totally had their mail! I stalked the whole street, and only the other side had their mail. Finally, by like 3:15, we got ours. But still. It was maddening.

Somebody Told Me...

Hello. Not a whole hell of a lot to blog about. I attempted today to make the computer more stef-friendly by keeping my dad away from my stuff, and trying to make it so that I could be online and he wouldn't have to kick me off. Yeah, it didn't work. But I can, jsut as a precaution of course, keep him out of my word documents and shut him up from complaining about the background. Let's just say he doesn't appreciate the Matrix like I do.

I didn't have morning soccer today, which fully rocked, since I got up at ten and lazed around outdoors. I really wish it were warmer and more summer-esque. But its not.

Last night various peoples wound up at my house and we watched Eurotrip. It was fun, especially where we attempted to barricade Rob and Megan in the closet. There are also cookie crums all over my floor from Gina attempting to cram a cookie up dan's nose.

Could someone explain to me why Dan is found attractive? Because I just don't see it. Rob, yes, duh he's hot- but Dan? Why don't you go to the zoo and check out the monkey cages if you're that desperate.

God, I'm so mean. I love you Dan, if you're reading this. Well, sort of. Okay, not really, but I don't hate you. And i'm pregnant with your child, right megan? Ho-kay. No one knows what I'm talking about here. I think I ought to stop.

Tell all the English boys you meet...

Listening to music, waiting for soccer to come. I've got about ten minutes. Tonight Rathna and I plan to hang out at the lake then head for some coffee. Kinda like last Thursday. Only that was JoAnne. Steg, how am I supposed to write your name again?

..'bout your american boy back in the states.

Oh, that reminds me. Elizabeth and Megan are at Warped Tour in Columbus, and I ahte them, and I'm jealous, and they better bring me back fucking awesome presents and goodies. One of these days I will go to Warper Tour. Damn Soccer.

Never gonna get it right.

and yes. That's how things go. Still no schedules. That pisses me off. And Rathna said something about not being able to start school on time because of the construction. Now, that would piss me off, as it would translate to extra school come next summer. ::anger:: I think August is "make-evil-plots-against-stef's-world" month. Because if you look back, in August everything kinda fell to shit, on every portion of my life. Aw, hell.

Well, I'm off. Soccer soon- we get our uniforms today, woop-de-frikin-do.

Why are my bloge entries so mind-numbingly dull?

Oh, yeah. It's still August.

Douse Myself in Gasoline

The morning is getting progressively worse. First I wake up at 8:33, even though this is my only day to sleep in all week. Then I set off the alarm when I open the library window to get rid of the cigarrette smell. Then I spend ten minutes writing a bloge entry, and it doesn't post. What the fuck?

Okay, and now we'll move on to how the night was, even though I already wrote about it.

Well, as Elizabeth said, it did get better after that last post. This is becasue Dan took it upon himself to invite himself over to my house along with various other friends, including Megan and Rory. Or it was just them, and I am exagerating. Hyperbole, okay? Anyway, they came over, and we called Elizabeth over, too, and we watched Blue Collar Comedy Tour.

Until five minutes later when Heather called Elizabeth to inform her that she was in a ditch with Matt and Shamis, and they wanted us to come get them. Only ,by the time we got out there, there was a cop there, so we just kind of drove by and checked to make sure they were okay and talked to them. I hope they're okay now. Hm.

Anyway, we came back, and finished watching the tour, and then Elizabeth had to take Megan home. She came back though, and Dan and Rory and she and I watched Matrix Reloaded and made fun of it. It rocked. Why did they make those sequals? Then they left and I watched to the end, and then tried to go online, only my gay-ass father had to be online instead. Mrr.

Then I went to bed, then I woke up, and that's how I ended up here. WAY too early in the morning.

Could someone inform me as to why it's impossible to come to my house without trashing the basement?

Douse Myself in Gasoline

Yes. I have one day all week to sleep in, and that is today. So what time did I wake up? Oh, right, 8:30 AM. Seriously. What the crap? I woke up so early, my parents hadn't turned off the house alarm yet, and I ended up setting it off when I opened the window.

Well, anyway, as Elizabeth's shout out kindly denotes, my day was a lot better after that post. This is because Dan took it upon himself to invite people to my house, including Megan and Rory. So when they got here, I called Elizabeth, and she came, too. They brought The Blue Collar Comedy Tour, which of course I've seen parts of.

After about five minutes, Heather called Elizabeth. She was in a ditch. Yeah, the car went off road a bit. We went to help, but they didn't really need us, so we just kind of turned around and went home, after checking to make sure they're okay and stuff. Which I hope they are now. Hm.

After that, we went back home. And we watched Matrix Reloaded after Elizabeth took Megan home. It was awesome to make fun of it. I heart The Matrix, but man, those sequals. Oh, well, cool fight scenes. Right. Then everyone went home, and I watched until the end, and tried to go online, but my father is gay so I didn't. Okay, end of story there.

Is it at all possible to come to my house and not completely destroy the basement?
