The ledgend, as it were:
(in book form, since I might as well be as descriptive as possible)

It was a Friday night, mid-May- warm, partly sunny, and filled with the unattainable promise of summer. I was preparing for a busy, yet un-filled weekend, and had no time to do my homework but that night. Instead I chose to sit outside and try to even out my tan a bit. Unfortunately, it started drizzling. I hauled inside, and sat down online, since what else is there for one to do when there are no alternatives? My computer was working slowly, since it had been on for over five days. I IMed eLizabeth, who was sharing in many of my weekend adventures with me, and we agreed that I would to her house after I ate dinner.
I drove over to her house, listening to the wonderful sounds of Hoobastank. (their new CD, as their old one is...kinda bad...) There I found her and Kevin on the trampoline in his backyard, bouncing. I joined them and we jumped for about half an hour, until eight o'clock ish.
Then we deciedwe wanted ice cream, so we went to Mitchell's. We passed Drew on the way there, and shouted out of my car like a bunch of morons. WE got to Mitchells and ate ice cream, while drawing pictures- artworks called "Cookies and Cream, if ya knoe what I mean", "A Picture of Rob Mills", and "DQ Rocks".
By the time we (okay, I- I ate a bit slower) were done eating, we had already missd DAnny Phantom (it was 8:30- we couldn't have made it home on time) so we decided to find something to do. On the ride home, we were blasting more Hoobastank, and poorly singing along with the words, when Elizabeth said, "You know, I have always wanted to stalk someone."
"Oh, yeah...we always contemplated doing that," I laughed.
On this note, we drove down Detroit a bit, looking for an ideal person to stalk. Chosen was a blue camry, nearly identical to mine. However, about two seconds after starting the journey, they went to a side street, and we gave up- there wasn't any point to following them further. Instead of finding another person to follow, Elizabeth brought up another thing we had always wanted to do- steal an orange construction barrel. (The original plan was made Thursday- we saw a lonely one near the Mitchells on Detroit in Rocky River, and I was rather tempted to pull it through the window and make off with it.) Elizabeth knew of some construction further into Avon Lake, so we journeyed around a bit looking for it, and finally found the perfect choice at the library. It was a stranded, desolate little cone (well, really it was a huge orange barrel) near a corner, at a perfect pick-up location. Best of all, there was no one around.
Unfortunately, I was stupid, and missed the turn, and we did have to make a plan of action. We went to the Alps (a mere half a block away) and contemplated. Though we did find other, actual cones, we decided we had to get the barrel. Not that we knew what to do with it...
After loitering suspiciously around the Alps for a bit, we went for the kill. We got to the library, and made as though we were turning around. When no cars were within 1500 feet or so (or we at least couldn't see any lights) Kevin and Elizabeth jumped out. They pushed the barrel into the backseat. It was a close fit, and Kevi had to sit on the othe side, but we made it. After some frantic turning, we decided to deposit the cone to Elizabeth's boyfriend. We took the barrel, now dubbed Cone-y (even though it wasnt a cone) and descreetly left it in the middle of the street at his neighbour's house. (between him and Matt).
Depositing that barrel was a carful task. First, we had to drive by and make sure no one was home. Then, we had to actually deposite the cone. Both of these were done without headlights, and with some very fact action by Kevin and Elizabeth. then, we took a third drive-by, this time with lights on. On this third rounf, we happened to notice that the neighbours had returned, ever-so-ironicaly, and were somewhat discombobulated by the cone. They showed signs of stopping and fixing it, but it would have looked suspicious if we stopped, too. So we drove on.
The three of us decided to wait a bit, and see if they did anything with the cone. We went to Tops, where elizabeth bought gum and super glue. Well, I suppose I paid for it, so I bought gum and super glue. The guy working at the cash register (the automatic lines were closed) was named Kevin. We bonded with him, and since he liked us, he scanned his little bonus card and we got a whopping five cents off. It was pretty neat.
We then drove back by Rob's house. The neighbours had moved it to the side of the road by their driveway. It kinda sucked, but at least little cone-y is safe.
We went back to Kevin's house, trampolined a bit, and then I had to come home.

early morning tomorrow, I best be off to sleep. shhh, don't tell, Kevin and Elizabeth and I are kelptomaniacs...maniacs....

picket signs for my wicked rhymes!

if ya knoe what I mean...
Currently, my computer has been on for about five days, give or take an hour. Therefore, its rather disfunctional. I'm looking forward to quite a busy, funfilled, sleepless weekend! Here's the plan:
Tonight- Go to Elizabeth's house and jump on Kevin's trampoline becasue she is a sweet, backstabbing X-girlfriend like that, and I am her partner in crime. Well, normally, I'm the mastermind.
Tomorrow, 8:00 AMish- go to caribou in Lakewood (;-) ) with caitling, then hit the road to columbus, possibly stopping for some cracker barrel along the way. There, we will shop for concert clothes at Urban Outfitters. It should be pretty exciting.
Tomorrow, 6:00 PMish- go to Steve's house with Elizabeth, but hell if i know who else is going or what we're doing.
Sunday, 8:00AMish- CEDAR POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sunday, 9:00 PMish- start that history plan of action.

Homework is not real. Its really summer now, homework is a figment of your imagination.

1984

no, actually, its 2004, twenty years later. But its a good book, let me tell you- Im about 1/2 way through. I was intending to post earlier, but unfortunaetly, my fingers had very little feeling in them, and I decided to read instead.
Went to soccer today, and suffered. Ugh, its so damn hot, and my ass is going to fall off- every time I take a step, shooting pains go up my leg, the blisters forming on the sides of my feet feel like they are bursting, and my sunburn feels like its exploding in fire. Not to mention, I feel.....oh, screw it. I hurt, inside and out. (I shall not finish that sentance)

A thunderstorm is approaching- I just saw lightining. Tricia is speaking to me in French right now. I don't understand french. Well, actually, I do, a little, not spoken french, but written. Anyway, I best get off- the lightning shall attack moi. (see, look- french)

Currently I have been online for over two days. Some sort of miracle occured. Oh, and this is my 206th post in here. God bless the new blogger format.

Monday, May 10, 2004

Whoa....new blog format. I'm tres confused, but I think I'll like it once I get used to it..

Anyway, so hither I sit. I'm getting really annoyed with a certain group of friends of mine...if you can even call them friends. Oh, wait, I have a really good quote that I just wrote about ten minutes ago about my feelings:
oh, nothing, they are just being shallow, ignorant teenagers, with no thought but to the advancement of their own happiness, through any immediate means necessary, never taking into account the fact that their actions are ridiculously self-centered, egotistical, and lacking sound judgement
(it was in responce to an IM)
anyway...so, yeah. A few (mostly one, but there are two others who roughly fit into the category) people have been bothering me in the above stated way. Its really annoying- all they think about is whether or not they are getting any action or not this weekend, or if they're going to go out and get wasted. They don't realize that they are completely being taken advantage of by these guys who are assholes. Oh, well, let them burn.

I'm not really in a bad mood, I'm just not really in a good mood, either. I have major bad sun burn. It has odd patterns because it is due to sitting outside and reading Dan Brown (Deception Point, if you want to know) for like five hours. Oh, and of course listening to Hoobastank. Apparently I channel Elizabeth's Hoobastank profile songs, and henceforth have them in my profile before she does. heh heh heh. At least I can win at one thing. Not much else, though.

I am getting my hari dyed today. Not sure exactly what I'm doing with it, though. After this horrid sunburn, I'm not so sure red is that great of an idea...

Its too damn hot.
