They gave us Two Shots to the Back of the Head...
Awesome. It's been a while. But I've been lazy- you know how I am. Not to mention, really tired. The lactic acid buildup in my legs is enough to fell a full-grown hip-hop-hinonomous. And I'm not quite that large. Quite.
Anyway, I'm now two and a half days into soccer tryouts. Lots of fun- not. Lots of running. Especially today. Who wants to hear about the running we did today? I'm going to tell you anyway. First we ran a mile. Then a 200. Then a 400. Then three 100s. Okay, it doesn't sound half as bad in here. But it sure felt like shit. That's how shin splints are, you see. I suppose the 40 minute straight run should be worse. But it isn't.
Well, enough about hell. God damn it, if one more pop-up shows up on this computer while I'm typing, I might just have to scream.
Let's review the week. We'll start with Monday. After tryouts I went to the mall with Megan (who is no longer Dever, for those of you wondering who in the hell Megan is) and Colleen. We parked, and as soon as we got out of the car, Megan identified Dan's Grand Am. So since he has a cell phone now, we called him. Then we met Rory and him at Cutter's Corner. Then Colleen made them come with us to meet her friends, who promptly ran away. Because they are assholes. That's how things go. So we all decided to rent a movie. We got The Ring, because Colleen and Rory hadn't seen it, and Dan is stupid and didn't remember half the movie anyway. I just sat there and made fun of the movie and how Megan was groping a certain pellow. (that's spelled correctly) Then Elizabeth joined us, at like 9:30, only she left at 11 to take poor sick little Megan home. When the movie was over, I took Colleen home, and then came home and slept like I was dead, until my alarm went off at like 7. Grrr.
FUCKING POPUPS
Anywayssssss. Yesterday after tryouts, I went to Kelly's house and saw Heather and Shamis outside, only Shamis was all abused-looking, so I was like "what the hell happened to you". And he was all, "I got hit by a car." And I was like, "oh." So, yeah, Shamis got hit by little Matt, since he (shamis) was stupid and sitting on the hood of his car. So after we went to Taco Bell (none of us felt like watching 13 going on 30 with Leah and Kelly) we stopped by little Matt's house. He felt bad. Partially for Shamis and partially for the fact that he had a horrible fever. Then we went back to Kelly's and met Elizabeth, and we listened to the same one minute song over and over, and I got confused by a clock that was broken but was telling the right time, and Shamis got his Crunchy Supreme thing from Taco Bell eaten by a dog.
It wasn't a good day for that kid, I tell you.
Anyway, so here I am, and I finally procured a copy of David Copperfield, and I should probably read it because it is 870 pages long and v. boring. I know this because I was stupid enough to try to read it in 8th grade. BAD. anyway.
