Okay, so I tried to post something yesterday, only it said it didnt post, only now its saying it did, and three times at that. So if there's three of the same post, forgive me, but I'm going to delete them ass soon as I check them for shoutouts...
Anyway, I went to see HARRY POTTER tonight. Time for the critic review:
Okay, well. Firstly, the new director's filming is SO drastically different that you're kind of in trandistion mode for the first ten minutes or so. And then, the filming is really dark and dramatic, so its kind of got this eerie feeling to it. Which is both cool, and somewhat depressing at the same time. I mean, I know its about wizards and such, but at the sametime, it seems somehow more realistic and less magical.
Anyway, as far asthe movie goes. I thought that if it were a random individual movie, it would have been really good. (Though it wouldn't have made a hell of a lot of sense) but as part of the Harry Potter series, it was somewhat disappointing. I know, all the movies will disappoint me, but still. All the scenes were so rushed- especially the shrieking shack scene with sirius and lupin and such... it was SO hurried and done so unlike the book that it killed it, and being that it is one of the pivitol scenes in the movie, I was disappointed.
The acting ahs gotten a lot better, though. The movie was a lot more emotional. I liked it, since I know even as a book, there's not really so much action, per se.
Things they neglected to include (or did wrong): the whole maurader's map thing, about who wrote it; the werewolf scene; the firebolt thing. I guess thats not too bad, considering that the lists for the other two movies are like WHOA.
But Daniel Radcliffe is yummy.
Some priceless moments:
"I was thinking we could live in the country", sirius and lupin hugging, any scene with the ron/hermione love thing, the opening scene under the sheets, and hermoine's random need to grope EVERYTHING in the movie.
All in all, its probably the best out of the three, but Im such a book reader I know I'll never come to love it. (though I'll always love Daniel) Actually, the best word I can describe this movie with is : wierd
Anyway. At the movie, we ran into Amanda E, who liz and I were like "oh, we shouild have invited her." so we went to ice cream with her and her friends, then to Shannons house, where I ate a buttload of nutella and got sick.
No more school, except exams. YESSSSSS!!
