Ah, yes, indeed- blackouts are an interesting thing to experience! I'm not even supposed to be oline right now- my parents are paranoid and think that the comp is gonna blow up or something.
I was at soccer during the blackout. I'm always at soccer. I notced the lights flicker for a second when I left the gym. 'Course, I didn't really think about it then. But the stars were very very pretty. I know, I sound like a stupid romantic, but hey- they were!
So, after the power quit switching on and off yesterday, I went to the Evanesance concert. Did I spell that right? Anyway- the concert was pretty cool. They group is so way better live than on the radio or whatever. And I got to wear my sweet new combat boots.
I just got back from soccer. This is my first time online since Wednesday night. I am now gong to list important information for all y'all:
Why Blackouts suck
~No computer
~No TV/video games
~all your food goes bad
~sewage backs into your already disgusting lake and you are forced to fork over $1.19 for a bottle of Disani that's barely even cold
~can't drive at night b/c there are not enough lights
~No comics in the newpaper the next day
~No A/C *after soccer practice*

Why Blackouts are cool
~You build bonfires
~Gameboys and walkmans still function
~Cell phones
~the Stars are really, really purty
~Soccer gets out early
~You get to do everything by flashlight/candle light
~You chill with neighbors
~You pretend its the 50's

Reasons why I need to go
~I smell from the soccer jersey b/c it is so old it smells like mothballs b/c I am a goalie and no one usually uses this shirt
~I am sweaty
~I am being forced to clean half the house

BTW, I did get a new cell phone.
Went to a concert today. It was at Peabody's. Saw Div's brother's band (I have no idea what they're called, it starts with a Z) they wre purty durn swell! However, there was this drunk guy behind us tat kept spilling beer, and the whole place reeked of beer and cigarette smoke. I kinda have a headach, but it was a cool thing to do. Eh.....that sounds corny......
